Sierra Tequila Silver and Sierra Tequila Reposado are probably the best-known and most popular tequilas in the Sierra range. Wherever you spend your evenings, you are sure to see the red and gold hat – and that’s a good thing.
Sierra Tequila Silver is a mature, clear tequila. Its full, fruity, fresh aroma dominated by a subtle chili note reflects the Tequilana Weber Azul Agave and also contains slight hints of green apple and young pineapple. Nuances of pepper give Sierra Tequila Silver that certain something, making it a feisty tequila.
Sierra Tequila Reposado is traditionally distilled twice in copper pot stills. It matures for nine months in toasted oak barrels, which gives it its shimmering golden color. Reposado is the favorite variety of tequila among Mexicans. The fresh, irresistible fruitiness of Sierra Tequila Reposado carries delicate notes of vanilla, caramel, and herbs. A recipient of numerous international awards, Sierra Tequila Reposado’s diversity of aromas makes it especially complex.
The Dark Night Shot
SIERRA Café fuses the elemental forces of handcrafted SIERRA Tequila Blanco and Mexican coffee and crowns them with high-quality vanilla. Blue agave plants from the highlands, volcanic soil, double distillation in copper kettles and the knowledge of three generations of the same Mexican family preserve the fruity tequila taste while the full-bodied coffee and smooth vanilla turn this drink into a real highlight for the taste buds – pure, with fresh milk or mixed.
25 % vol.
Sierra Antiguo Tequila Plata contains 40% alcohol by volume and is silky smooth for such a young product. This is because of the high quality of its ingredients, the traditional way in which it is prepared, and the time this tequila spends maturing and mellowing in stainless-steel tanks. Sierra Antiguo Tequila Plata is exceptionally well suited for a classic margarita. Friends of Mexican drinking culture love the fruity straightforwardness and aromatic intensity of this 100% de Agave tequila.
Tequila at the next level
Sierra Antiguo Tequila Plata and Sierra Antiguo Tequila Añejo constitute the Sierra Antiguo Tequila range. Both of them are made exclusively from the high-quality agaves grown in the highlands of the Mexican state of Jalisco. They are carefully distilled twice over, and their taste is characterized by the intensity of the agave they contain.
Sierra Antiguo Tequila Añejo (40% alcohol by volume) is aged over a period of two years in small oak barrels until its flavor matures to perfection. It has a warm, deep-gold color and it is characterized by its aromatic, full-bodied, yet particularly mild, fine flavor. You will notice the sheer breadth of its aroma as soon as you open a bottle of Sierra Antiguo Tequila Añejo. The interplay of vanilla, oranges, clove, and pepper begins in the nose, continues to the palate, and fades slowly into a fruity resonance.
